Radon Measurement

According to the EPA, Radon is the number one cause of lung cancer in non-smokers. The entire state of Iowa is in Zone 1 of the EPA Radon map which means we are at the highest risk. It is a tasteless, odorless, colorless gas that cannot be detected without special equipment. Allow us to perform a 48 hour radon test with any home inspection and assess whether or not you may be at risk.

Design Services

We offer design services in addition to home inspections. Many homes in the Des Moines area have unfinished basements. For a flat fee, we work with you to design the basement of your dreams.    What a great experience! Being a first time homebuyer and purchasing a 95 year old house, I was very concerned about potential issues that could arise in the home. Paul put my mind at ease! He was extremely thorough in his inspection of the entire house, and gave me plenty of information about the history and current state of the house. I will definitely be holding on to his report for years to come so I can reference his many FYI's. He was quick to get my inspection scheduled and was very easy to get along with. My full inspection report was emailed to me within hours! By giving me a heads up about potential issues I may need to fix, but assuring me that the house is in great condition, I'm more than ready to close on my first home!    Prompt. Went the extra hard and came back two days later when water was turned on.  Great customer service. Cleaned up after himself. Double checked the house to ensure everything was back in place. Went above and beyond to fix things like a loose electrical cover. Very meticulous!  Highly recommend!!
